So, langsam kehre ich wieder in das “normale Leben” zurück. Polterabend, Hochzeit, Hochzeitsreise sind mit dem August schon wieder alle vergangen, das Arbeitsleben hat mich wieder und langsam kehre ich aus der “Cook-Zeit” zurück in die westeuropäische Realität. Zeit, endlich mal den offiziellen Helfern bei der Hochzeit (neben all unseren großartigen Freunden, Verwandten und Bekannten, denen wir auf anderem Wege danken) zu danken.
Since this will be the last blog entry for a couple of weeks I just wanted to write down some impressions about this really amazing time in my life.
Despite being the head of our SpringSource Premier Systems Integrator team at QuinScape this one took me by surprise. It was a well-guarded secret as far as we are concerned and no information leaked previously. And I failed to see the signs although they were there:
I just got sidetracked for a short moment by this awesome presentation of a digital gaming table. After my Ph.D. thesis and my honeymoon that’s something to look more closely into… I’m absolutely awed…
Come to Cologne – it’s going to be fun!

Eberhard and I will be talking about various Spring related topics and and give the full course from the very basics (what is Spring and why is it good?) to the most advanced topics (how do the distributed administration of a large SpringSource tc server cluster work with some simple magic?). I’m looking forward to the code camp since it will be a great opportunity to do some great coding together. And the evening events also are goinf to be alot of fun!
Last year during our USA trip we also visited the wonderful town of Lone Pine and the even more wonderful Alabama Hills (if you haven’t been there and like movies – go there! It’s a magical place). While we stayed there there was on site filming for the movie “Transformers 2″. Thus we have to go to the cinema and watch it. Today we did…
